The Bombers will wrap up 2024 with three games this week beginning on Tuesday night in Flin Flon against the Nipawin Hawks. The Hawks are continuing to play much better hockey as of late and are 4-4-1-1 in the teams previous ten games. Nipawin is coming off of a weekend split with the La Ronge Ice Wolves and are sitting just one point back of the Notre Dame Hounds as they try to climb out of the SJHL basement. The Bombers currently lead the season series 3-0.

The Bombers and the La Ronge Ice Wolves will wrap up 2024 with a home and home series this weekend starting on Friday night in La Ronge. The teams have yet to face off since the second weekend of the season when the teams went 1-1. The Ice Wolves have played .500 hockey in their last ten games. The Bombers will need to shut down SJHL all-star Mason Bueckert who currently has 29 points in 30 games. The highly skilled forward out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan had 62 points in 56 games last season with the Ice Wolves.

Flin Flon has points in eleven straight games and are currently sitting tied for 3rd place in the SJHL overall standings with a 16-9-2-0 record. The team will look to respond after suffering a 3-2 overtime loss to the Battlefords North Stars last Saturday.
