This is your Flin Flon Bombers Week Recap Powered by Canadian Tire.

After seeing their 10-game winning streak snapped the Bombers returned to action on Tuesday night and defeated the Nipawin Hawks 8-2 at the Whitney Forum. Local product Ryder Mucha scored his first career SJHL goal and added a second marker in the third period. Leo Seitz, Luke Lepper and Kylynn Olafson also contributed in a big way, putting up 3 points each. Rhett Ewen, Keefe Gruener and Kyle Marsden all dropped the gloves and received 5-minute fighting majors during the game which was a season high for the Bombers.

The Bombers then travelled to La Ronge to take on the Ice Wolves for the first time since September and came home with a big 3-1 win. Wyatt Stinton, Carter Cormier and Pierce Yakimchuk scored and the Bombers penalty kill remained hot going 5 for 5. To cap off 2024 the Bombers and Ice Wolves put on an entertaining affair. The Bombers got off to a hot start with a 3-0 lead after the first period until the Ice Wolves stormed back in the second to even the score. Keefe Gruener and Anthony Piccininno would restore the Bombers lead heading into the third period. The Ice Wolves would make things interesting but Evin Bossel and Koen Senft would put the game out of reach as the Bombers would complete the week sweep with a 7-5 win over La Ronge.

Heading into the Christmas break the Bombers now sit in 2nd place with a 19-9-2-0 record. The Bombers are 13-0-1-0 in their previous 14 games.
